OVW Special Condition re Workplace Violence
This email is being sent out as a reminder of an upcoming OVW Special Condition due date.
As you may recall, the FY2020 OVW award contained the following Special Condition:
Policy for response to workplace-related incidents of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, and dating violence.
The recipient, and any subrecipient at any tier, must have a policy, or issue a policy within 270 days of the award date (due date March 1, 2022), to address workplace-related incidents of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, and dating violence involving an employee, volunteer, consultant, or contractor.

For your easy reference, I am attaching the actual special condition language from OVW’s website.
Also, in the event that you might find it useful, I am attaching a copy of the letter that Tennessee sent out last year to subgrantees to remind them of the special condition. This is merely a sample memo for you to have as a guide in the event that you find it useful.
