AVA Peer to Peer – Nashville October 2017

AVA conducted our fourth Peer-to-Peer (P2P) regional mentoring meeting in Nashville, TN in early October.  The meeting included 12 administrators from nine different states.  There was significant discussion on many different topics including risk assessments, Muskie reporting, Implementation Plans, Subgrantee site visits, federal audits, and much more.

We are grateful to each of the participants for being so actively involved and for providing feedback on the components of the training that they benefited from the most.  Based on the overwhelmingly positive evaluations, we gained valuable insight that will help us continue to fine tune P2P trainings for the future.

There were a lot of  resource documents that were shared at the meeting, particularly on programmatic and financial site visit monitoring.  These documents have been uploaded to the Members Resources section of the AVA website for your current and future reference.  They can be found at: https://www.avadministrators.org/member-resources/

Below are some photos from the Nashville meeting.
