AVA Connect Conversations
Hello VAWA Administrators!This post is simply your reminder of the upcoming series of AVA Connect Conversations devoted to topical discussion focused on Implementation Planning.Please see below for our planned discussion items for each of the monthly AVA Connect Conversations throughout the remainder of 2021. We will firm up the dates for each month soon.Please let me know if you are still planning to attend the first conversation that will take place one week from today, June 22, 2021 at 1:30pm, EST.
AVA Connect Conversation – Implementation PlanningJune 22, 2021 – This AVA Connect conversation will last 60-90 minutes and will provide an overview of AVA’s plan to share IP resources and to summarize our monthly, AVA Connect Conversations around Implementation Planning from July to December.
July, 2021 (Date TBD) – This conversation will last between 60-90 minutes and will focus on how to plan and start your IP process – documentation, documentation, documentation.
August, 2021 (Date TBD) – This conversation will last between 60-90 minutes and will focus on needs assessments, focus groups, meetings, etc.
September, 2021 (Date TBD) – This conversation will last between 60-90 minutes and will focus on Consultations with Tribes.
October, 2021 (Date TBD) – This conversation will last between 60-90 minutes and will focus on Consultations in General.
November, 2021 (Date TBD) – This conversation will last between 60-90 minutes and will focus on the impact that VOCA, SASP, FVPSA, RPE may have on your IP.
December or January/, 2021/2022 – We are hopeful that by this time, all travel restrictions will be lifted. If so, our plan is that this will be a final in-person meeting and administrators can bring with them to the meeting the IP that they have developed to this point and we can all work on putting it together.
