NOVA Request for Lists of Victim Service Providers

Good afternoon!

The National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) is hoping to identify a contact in each state and territory that can help them locate a current list of victim service providers in your area,

Please see the below letter from Callie Stewart, Director of Strategic Engagement for more information and respond to her if you are able.

Thank you in advance for your support of NOVA.

Dear VAWA Administrators,

I’m reaching out to you today for your help as an important representative of the victim services field in your state.

NOVA is partnering with the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) and Westat to develop the 2023 National Census of Victim Service Providers (NCVSP) for the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS).

As part of this project, we want to identify a contact in each state and territory to help us locate a current list of Victim Service Providers. By collecting these lists ahead of sending out the NCVSP, we can begin with the most inclusive and updated provider list available.

The NCVSP is critical to understanding the current landscape of victim services across the country. By accurately gathering information on all providers, we can identify gaps in services and funding needs for survivors across the country.

If you are willing to support us in this process, please take a few minutes to leave your name and contact information here. If you already have access to a state victim service providers list, you can also easily upload it on the same page.

I recognize that your time is valuable. As a result, NOVA would like to provide one free membership to any individual or organization that is able to support us in this process.

Thank you for your time and dedication to the field.

Warm regards,

Callie Stewart
