Subject: Important Message from OVW- Transition of Programs

Hello Everyone!

As many of you know or may have heard OVW is in the midst of transition!

For the last six years or so I have served as the Associate Director for the STOP Program, Sexual Assault Services Formula Program, Sexual Assault Services Culturally Specific Services Program (SAS CSP), Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program, State and Territorial Coalitions Program and the Culturally Specific Services Program (CSSP). OVW has backfilled some vacated Associate Director and Program Specialist positions, and as a result, have done some realigning of the various grant programs. I will continue to serve as the Associate Director for SAS CSP, CSSP, and will begin overseeing the Transitional Housing Program as a result of this realignment.

Effective Wednesday, March 16, 2016 Amy Loder will serve as the Associate Director for the formula programs: STOP, SASP Formula, the Coalitions Programs along with two discretionary programs: Underserved and Disabilities.

I’d also like to take a moment to welcome Latonya Eaddy to the formula programs unit! Attached for your reference are the state assignments for the formula programs. Omar, Kevin, Kim and Latonya will serve as your Program Specialists for the STOP and State Coalitions Programs and Melissa Schmisek will serve as the Program Specialist for SASP Formula. Please note: Paule Tessier will continue managing America Samoa (AS) for now but in the coming months AS will be transferred to Latonya as well.

It has been an honor to work with all of you. I’ve learned a lot over the last six years and I thank each of you for being my “teacher”. I wish you continued success in all that you do in your roles to support survivors of sexual and domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.
