AVA Peer to Peer – June 2024
Good afternoon!
As many of you know, AVA held two Peer-to-Peer (P2P) meetings in 2023. Our current plan is to hold just one meeting in 2024. Last year’s meetings were held on the east coast and in the western part of the US, so this year we chose the central US, specifically, Madison, Wisconsin.
The Madison airport supports direct flights from most major US cities and the hotel that we are looking at provides free shuttle service to and from the hotel and airport.
The main purpose of this correspondence is to reach out to you to determine whether or not you are interested in participating in this year’s P2P. We are looking at holding the meeting June 10th-12th, 2024.
Please let us know if you are interested. We will likely cap attendance at around 25 participants again so that everyone in attendance has sufficient time to engage/interact during the meeting.
We truly appreciate your feedback and will support the first 25 requests we get with consideration first for:
1) AVA dues-paying members
2) If space is still available, non dues-paying members who are actively working towards becoming an AVA member.
Feel free to express your interest whether you fit into these areas or not so that you and I can have a conversation about your possible attendance.
Finally, we welcome and encourage feedback about the topics that you would most like to discuss and/or that you most want to learn how other VAWA Administrators are addressing key issues.
So, in summary, we want to know if you:
- are interested in participating
- are available June 10-12th, 2024
- have specific topics that you would like to discuss
