AVA Connect – Implementation Planning

Good morning everyone!  I hope that each of you will have an extra day off this weekend to celebrate July 4th weekend!

In June, 30 VAWA Administrators joined in on an information sharing AVA Connect Conversation focused solely on Implementation Planning.  During June’s conversation, we gave participants an overview of the specific Implementation Planning topics that would be discussed in each of the upcoming 5-6 months.
Today, we would like to announce the areas we plan to discuss during July and August.
On July 29th, 2021 at 2:00 EST, we will conduct our next Implementation Planning AVA Connect Conversation.  This month’s conversation will focus on getting started and the initial planning for your IP process.  
On August 11th, 2021 at 2:00 EST, we will conduct an Implementation Planning AVA Connect Conversation.  The August conversation will focus on needs assessments, focus groups, meetings, etc.
Each of these two conversations will last from 60-90 minutes.  If either of these two topics interest you (or both), please let me know that you plan to participate so that we can have a better understanding of how many participants we can expect.
I will send out the Zoom links for both conversations, via the AVA listserv around mid July and another in early August.
