Today, AVA joins communities across the country in recognizing Denim Day, a powerful reminder of the importance of 
standing in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and challenging harmful myths around consent.
Your leadership is critical for advancing efforts to prevent sexual violence and support victim-centered responses. Denim Day offers an opportunity to amplify these efforts by promoting public awareness about consent and victim-blaming, highlighting resources available to survivors in your state, and engaging partners and communities in conversations about prevention and accountability
We encourage you to consider ways to recognize Denim Day in your state or agency. Your voice plays an important role in fostering a culture of respect and safety.
